TWO new D. B. Reynolds-Moreton eBooks out this month!

Stay tuned for announcements of not one but TWO new D. B. Reynolds-Moreton eBooks out this month. First, "Enslavement" (it's SOOO close to being finished now, just tweaking it here and there) - We're firmly on the Mayan themed bandwagon here and Moreton has pulled another great tale of exploration of alien worlds out of the hat.

After that, "Flight of the Tristan" a watery tale... keeping Mum about that one for a week or two but rest assured it's going to be another cracking sci-fi adventure.

REVIEW - The Inosculation Syndrome * * * *

A cracking review of The Inosculation Syndrome from SF Book Reviews, you can read the FOUR STAR review HERE

Another novel being published by those good people at Scifi Cafe, The Inosculation Syndrome is something of a surprise... The actual planet is reassuringly alien with some strange creatures and even stranger plants, all described in concise detail which comes across as being quite feasible; the overall feeling of being marooned on an alien planet is just great.

This theme of lone survivor having to use his intelligence and wit to survive is certainly one that has been done before but the story branches off from this around a quarter of the way through with the discovery of the Tribe. The story then takes a sharp turn and becomes one of learing who these creatures are, why they are one the planet and just how they manage to learn so fast. This turn in the tale is perfectly judged and prevents the story from becoming stale.

The Inosculation Syndrome is quite entertaining and different enough to warrant a read.

We're starting 2012 with a chuckle here at sci-fi-cafe.com. Roger L. Phillips, has turned out another brilliant volume of hilarious Alien and UFO cartoons - over 90 in this new volume. If you're a fan of Alien conspiracy theories, then this is one to get on your Kindle or iPad.

Roger's sculptures have been seen on the set of TV's "The Big Bang Throry" and many have likened his cartoons to the legendary Gary Larson. It's just $4.99 to buy direct from our bookstore.

The Everlasting Beyond of Eternal Happiness

Oxford author Mike Amos takes us on a superbly witty journey that is not only hilarious, but asks some pretty hard questions about faith and the meaning of life. The fact that our hero's genitals escape and run amok on board the Europa landing craft doesn't detract from the depth of the story one little bit.

Avaialble from any good online bookstore worth their salt or buy directly from sci-fi-cafe.com

For a debut novel The Everlasting Beyond of Eternal Happiness is quite exceptional, it's funny without going too far, thoughtful without being too preachy and above all a very fine read. SFBook Reviews Read the full review...

REVIEW - Elysium Burning * * * * *

The latest review of DDD.Bryenton's EPIC post-cyberpunk novel Elysium Burning is in from SF Book Reviews, you can read the FIVE STAR review HERE

The first thing that strikes you about this book is the quality of the prose, not only is it very confident but the author clearly commands an excellent grasp of the English language, using this skill to full effect within the pages of this book. At times this sounds almost poetic and the author shows no fear in his voice or reluctance to break the rules.

I must admit that I was very impressed with this book, there are some fantastic ideas and the prose has a real eloquence that is both rare and rewarding. The vision of this post-human universe is lucid and vividly presented; all projected in a talented and confident voice.
