The Inosculation Syndrome
by D. B. Reynolds-Moreton
Marooned on an uncharted Planet, Kal wanders the savage wilderness on the edge of survival until he stumbles upon The Tribe living in a cave, near extinction and threatened by the local wildlife.
Kal instigates the technical and cultural birthing of the tiny people which takes off at a breathtaking pace. But there is another technological force at play on the strange planet, a relic of some past civilisation, or something more current?
"This is nothing less than a masterpiece. The breadth of imagination in this story leaves you hungry for the next page and on the edge of your seat as the characters face their perils and challenges . Moreton's depiction of the technological awakening of The Tribe is compelling and brilliantly written" - SFC Editor.

"Another novel being published by those good people at Scifi Cafe, The Inosculation Syndrome is something of a surprise... The actual planet is reassuringly alien with some strange creatures and even stranger plants, all described in concise detail which comes across as being quite feasible; the overall feeling of being marooned on an alien planet is just great."
"This theme of lone survivor having to use his intelligence and wit to survive is certainly one that has been done before but the story branches off from this around a quarter of the way through with the discovery of the Tribe. The story then takes a sharp turn and becomes one of learing who these creatures are, why they are one the planet and just how they manage to learn so fast. This turn in the tale is perfectly judged and prevents the story from becoming stale."
"The Inosculation Syndrome is quite entertaining and different enough to warrant a read." SFBook Reviews Read the full review...

"D. B. Reynolds-Moreton takes us on a journey of discovery through strange and hostile landscapes, and into the depths of a machine so staggeringly vast and at the same time utterly believable. Whether you see the twist at the end coming or not, you'll be completely drawn in" - SFC Editor.

"Grand would probably be the most fitting way to describe the plot, it feels very much like a story from the golden age of science fiction as penned by Asimov, Clarke or Heinlein perhaps. ." - SF Book Reviews

Of Wood, Metal and Glass
by D. B. Reynolds-Moreton
Long after the mighty dogs of war had barked their last three primitive settlements struggle to survive, distant but connected by a fragile wooden trackway. Brent sails the trackways between the settlements, ferrying materials and goods from his forest edge settlement and the metalworkers and outwards to the glass workers.
The desert wastelands between the three settlements are being consumed by an unknown force, gigantic funnels into which the parched sands are being slowly sucked. But there is something more, a malevolent cloud-like presence haunts the desert.
Brent is uncommonly inquisitive and against the decree of the elders stumbles upon a hitherto undiscovered treasure house - an entire department store, buried and overgrown by the forest over the countless years. And so change comes to the three settlements, but not in the way that they had expected.
"With a wry nod to other books in his 'Sapient Continuum' series, D. B. Reynolds-Moreton shows us life after the last great war. The inhabitants of this land react to the strange remains of an earlier civilisation in a totally believable fashion. This is good solid, intelligent sci-fi." - SFC Editor.

But there are a lot of strange things out in the asteroid belt; Cresswell encounters a stricken alien craft and with a heroism he never knew he had rescues the sole occupant. From that point on, the pair embark on an astounding voyage of discovery taking them to the sorry future of Earth and beyond.
"D. B. Reynolds-Moreton continues to dazzle, with the lavish detail and imagination that goes into his tales. "The Single Twin" delivers a satisfying conclusion after an increasingly bleak outlook for the two main characters as they explore war torn Earth populated by the ingenious but deadly relics of man's propensity for self-annihilation." - SFC Editor
